Bobby D. Greene, Esq.

Bobby Greene joined Ritsema & Lyon in 2018.  He brings with him several years of experience on both the defense and claimant side of workers’ compensation practice.  His practice focuses on insurance defense of workers’ compensation carriers and self-insured employers.  Prior to joining Ritsema & Lyon, Mr. Greene worked as a workers’ compensation attorney for Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine. 

An Austin native, Mr. Greene received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2003.  He attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he was a quarter-finalist in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York City, as well as a member of Loyola’s Vis International Moot Court team which competed in Vienna, Austria.  Prior to law school, Mr. Greene was a television news reporter in Austin, New Orleans, and Dallas.  He graduated law school in 2011 and moved to Colorado where he began practicing workers’ compensation law. 

Mr. Greene is also licensed in Arizona, and his practice is primarily focused on handling Arizona workers’ compensation claims for Ritsema & Lyon.

Joanna M. Frederick

Joanna M. Frederick

Joanna M. Frederick recently joined Ritsema & Lyon, P.C., as an associate attorney, in July of 2018. She is a native of Mississippi. She attended Mississippi State University (MSU) where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Public Policy and Administration. Ms. Frederick was selected to MSU’s Hall of Fame based on her campus involvement and academic honors. She also received the Spirit of State Award, the University’s premier student award.

Following her graduate and undergraduate career, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board. She placed in mock-trial competitions and received publication of her student note in 2012.

She received her law license to practice in Mississippi in September of 2012. She served as the municipal prosecutor for Como, Miss., and practiced as an associate attorney at Slocum Law Firm, PLLC, before she moved to Colorado in 2017.

Ms. Frederick also received experience in matters of personal injury, premise liability, mass torts, and class actions, prior to her arrival at Ritsema & Lyon. She now concentrates her practice on workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense, and civil litigation matters. John Odenheimer

John Odenheimer joined Ritsema & Lyon in 2019 as an associate, where he focuses his practice on insurance defense for workers’ compensation carriers. He is licensed to practice in Colorado, including in the United States District for the District of Colorado, and is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations.

A Denver native, Mr. Odenheimer received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in 2009 before graduating with his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Odenheimer interned with the Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel and was a member of the Workplace Justice Project law clinic, which handles labor and employment claims for indigent clients.

Jennifer Gulbin

Jennifer Gulbin joined Ritsema & Lyon in 2019 as an associate. A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania (home of “The Office”), she earned her undergraduate degree in philosophy from Bucknell University, graduating cum laude. She then moved to Olympia, Washington, where she built a successful career in workers’ compensation.

After three years as an adjudicator with the State of Washington, Ms. Gulbin transitioned to the private sector, where she worked closely with employers and retrospective rating groups as a third-party administrator for nearly 15 years. In that capacity, she represented the interests of her clients before the Department of Labor & Industries and the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA). Ms. Gulbin participated in countless mediation conferences and took numerous cases to appeal. She personally represented her clients in hearings if she determined that she could prevail without an attorney. In fact, one of the cases she won without the assistance of counsel was deemed a “Significant Decision” by the BIIA and has been cited in numerous cases since. These successes inspired her to obtain her law degree.

Ms. Gulbin enrolled at Arizona State University in 2016 and graduated in 2019. Within a few months of experiencing the sun and desert landscapes, she and her husband realized that they wanted to make Arizona their home. Ms. Gulbin is a member of the Arizona Bar Association.

Danielle S. Vukonich

Danielle Vukonich joined Ritsema & Lyon in 2019. She brings with her several years of experience on the defense side of workers’ compensation practice. Her practice focuses on insurance defense of workers’ compensation carriers and self-insured employers. Prior to joining Ritsema & Lyon, Ms. Vukonich worked as a workers’ compensation attorney for Lundmark, Barberich, LaMont & Slavin, P.C.

Ms. Vukonich grew up in Montana and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Montana in 2011. She graduated from Arizona Summit Law School in 2014. While in law school, Ms. Vukonich worked as a research/teaching assistant for one of her professors and interned with a law firm that practices the claimant side of worker’s compensation.

Ms. Vukonich is licensed to practice in Arizona, including in the United States District for the District of Arizona. She is also licensed in Montana. Her practice is primarily focused on handling Arizona workers’ compensation claims for Ritsema & Lyon.

Hayleigh P. Lidbury

Hayleigh Lidbury joined Ritsema & Lyon as an associate in 2020 primarily focusing her practice on worker’s compensation defense on behalf of her clients. Ms. Lidbury focuses on taking a balanced approach to resolving her client’s legal needs in order to provide the most effective and efficient solutions. She has earned a reputation for negotiating complex issues on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining Ritsema & Lyon, Ms. Lidbury worked as a workers’ compensation & employment law defense attorney in the Denver area.

Ms. Lidbury received her Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Tulsa School of Law in 2017. During law school, Ms. Lidbury was selected to work as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She also served as the Tulsa Law Review’s Articles and Research Editor. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a paralegal for a midsized Labor and Workers’ Compensation firm and a midsized Complex Civil Litigation firm. Ms. Lidbury graduated from Loyola University Chicago a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Ms. Lidbury relocated to Denver in 2017 and is licensed to practice in Colorado and Utah. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of Colorado and a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and Utah Bar Association.

Francisco Martinez

Francisco Martinez joined the Ritsema & Lyon as an associate in early 2020. Mr. Martinez is a native of New Mexico and completed his undergraduate education at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He then attended law school at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, where he clerked for the Honorable John K. Stewart of the San Francisco Superior Court.

After graduating, Mr. Martinez began his legal career at the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, where he worked as a prosecutor for four years. During that time, Mr. Martinez sharpened his advocacy skills by managing a variety of cases ranging from traffic offenses and misdemeanors all the way up to the most serious felony cases, including first degree murder. In addition to trying fifty-seven jury trials, Mr. Martinez negotiated countless other cases to achieve a just result.

Mr. Martinez takes pride in his work and is committed to the firm’s principles of professionalism and results-driven practice. He is licensed to practice in Colorado.
